Look Good...Feel Better

hair a go-go is proud to have staff members who volunteer with Look Good...Feel Better, a non-medical, brand-neutral, national public service program created to help individuals with cancer look good, improve their self-esteem, and manage their treatment and recovery with greater confidence.  

Look Good... Feel Better is sponsored by the American Cancer Society, Personal Care Products Foundation and the National Cosmetology Foundation. Elizabeth Tate, owner/stylist of hair a go-go, works with this amazing program. Look Good...Feel Better offers free classes to help women who are going through chemotherapy &/or radiation treatment for cancer. wig care services

Along with educating clients who are dealing with skin and hair changes as a result of cancer treatment or other illnesses, Elizabeth Tate currently offers wig cutting services. 

She looks forward to expanding her services soon to better meet the needs of people in the area coping with cancer and its affects.

hospitalized client care

Sometimes hair a go-go clients may find themselves or a loved one in need of hospitalization or long-term care. While we know that health and healing are of the utmost importance during these times, we also know that an act as simple as getting your hair washed and dried in such circumstances can lift the spirits and offer comfort. hair a go-go staff may be able to help in these times.
