how to do twisties at home...
Okay, do you want the truth? Only people with a natural inclination for doing hair can do this one at home. Don't be discouraged, though. There is a way to get this great, fun look by cheating. It starts by doing your classic go-go blow-dry (see "how to do the classic go-go blow-dry..."), plugging in your curling iron and stopping before you get to the finishing your hair part.
Instead of finishing, you will be applying liberal amounts of Bb. does it all all over your hair. Next, you clip up your hair just like when you started your blow dry. Using the same method you did working around your head for the classic go-go blow-dry, you will be curling your hair in vertical sections away from your face on each side. Before you put the curling iron to your hair make sure you are spraying each section with Bb. does it all. This will give extra heat and humidity protection and allow for easy separation. Also note: ask your stylist which size curling iron is best for your hair length.
Work your way around your head level by level towards the top, spraying each finished layer with does it all again. When you get to that top section, divide it into triangles so that you won't have a defined part.
When you are totally finished, spray a little Bb. shine on your hands and rake your fingers through your hair from the bottom up. This will keep your curls separated and give you a chance to fluff it up a little. Take a little Bb. defrizz and get even more separation if you want. Spray with Bb. holding spray to finish if you want to keep it in place all day or Bb. spray de mode if you want more flexible hold. Voila!
